How attack began and this incident happened?
This incident occur, (Tuesday) on the next day of of four persons killed and other five has a critical bullet injuries. This incident was happened in Manipur’s Thoubal District. This lead the Manipur Government to strict the curfew in the condition where, 200 innocent people lost their precious lives in 2023.
Why the militant attacked on Security Personnel?
The militant attacked the Security Personnel, because there was the night curfew because of attack on the day before this attack on Tuesday and Top Officials were scheduled to review the curfew measures, starting from Tuesday.
On the Monday, militants fired because, citizens of Lilong Chingao protested against a suspected extortion bid. The gunfight happened between, Meitei and Kuki armed village Defence. In that fight, one person from the volunteers was killed on the Saturday.

How many Security Personal were Injured?
According to the Hindustan Times report, at least 7 security personnel are injured in this attack by militants in Manipur. Team is on their way to search for the other injured people and to give them proper medical treatment.
Manipur Government on this incident
The Chief Minister of Manipur released a video message and in the message, he condemned this violence and made appeal to innocent citizens to maintain peace and they especially requested to the citizens of Lilong.
The Chief Minister of Manipur said, ““Police are working to arrest those behind the attack. They will be arrested soon and punished as per the law”.
What is the current condition?
According to the spokes person of Umbrella Group of Kukis in Tengnouplal, gunfight has been occured between the Security Forces and the gunmen (currently not identified). “The firing is still on. It has been more than two hours. The two unarmed civilians were taken from Chvangphai.”
According to the superintendent Luikham Lanmiyo of the Tengnoupal police, nobody is still arrested, involved in this attack.
Condition of the Injured Security Personnel
According to the Deputy commissioner Krishna Kumar, the attack was unprovoked and the wounded security Personnel are rushed for the treatment in separate hospitals. From the injured personnel, five were airlifted to Imphal and they’re admitted to the Regional Institutes of Medical Science. Two other from them are getting the medical treatment in Moreh.
